Direct Relief is a humanitarian aid organization, active in all 50 states and more than 80 countries, with a mission to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies – without regard to politics, religion, or ability to pay. 

Our programmatic supports include early learning, K-12 academics, post-secondary success, and successful entry into career. We continuously work to expand our partnerships and relationships to provide robust support services across all points of the education continuum.

The mission of Live Healthy & Thrive Youth Foundation is to educate, activate, motivate and empower youth in the areas of academic achievement, fitness, and total wellness. 

The mission of Project Hawai'i Inc. is to help our islands keiki (children in Hawaiian) break the cycle of poverty.  Since 2003, our dedicated volunteers strive to enhance their lives by providing year round supportive services that help to build their self-esteem and learn the proper life and social skills to succeed.  We are able to change the children's lives by providing a sense of stability through our holiday events, school support, educational training and monthly outreach.

Our mission is based on the same strong beliefs as those of our founders more than 40 years ago – no Alaskan should go hungry, we need to recover food that would be wasted otherwise, and we share what we have.

Food Bank of Alaska is dedicated to eliminating hunger in Alaska by obtaining and providing food to partner agencies feeding hungry people and through anti-hunger leadership. We believe that no one deserves to be hungry.

For over 40 years, WCA has been at the forefront of providing services to those healing from domestic abuse and sexual assault. Since its founding, WCA’s crisis program has evolved into one of the most vital, unduplicated, comprehensive programs in our community and region. WCA is proud to be a community leader in providing these critically needed services. We’ve been an important community partner for over 110 years and providing safe spaces for members of our community has always been at the core of our mission. 

La Frontera Arizona / EMPACT – Suicide Prevention Center offers comprehensive crisis and community behavioral health services to children, adults, and families. Services are provided in the home or at one of our offices located in metro Phoenix, San Tan Valley, and the City of Maricopa.

In addition to providing direct services, EMPACT is an active in our communities providing prevention programs, training, outreach, and advocacy. We partner with police, fire, schools, places of worship, legal systems, and other agencies and organizations seeking to promote safe, healthy, and resilient individuals, families, and communities.

We believe that at the bottom line, self-sufficient employment is the answer to so many other issues, including homelessness, hunger and even the crime rate.  When people can support their own family by themselves through their employment and without public assistance, they gain dignity and self-respect. As self-sufficient, productive members of the workforce, people can give back to their community and provide a secure future for themselves and their families.

NOLS is a nonprofit global wilderness school that seeks to help you step forward boldly as a leader.  We believe that anyone can be a leader; it’s our role to provide the environment and training to help you discover your full potential. We do that in classrooms close to home and in remote wilderness areas around the world.  We’re an organization with heart, expertise, and wildness, and these qualities help us support powerful, authentic experiences.
