Casting for Recovery (CfR) provides healing outdoor retreats for women with breast cancer, at no cost to the participants. CfR’s retreats offer opportunities for women to find inspiration, discover renewed energy for life, and experience healing connections with other women and nature. The retreats are open to women with breast cancer of all ages, in all stages of treatment and recovery. For over 25 years, women from all walks of life have benefitted from CfR’s inspiring program model.

Wings For L.I.F.E. – Life-skills Imparted to Families through Education, is an empowerment program that provides life-skills, education, training, and support for children and family members of prisoners (returning citizens) and at-risk youth. Some of the educational topics that are addressed include single parenting, finances – how to stretch a dollar, discipline, acceptance issues, prison visits, feeding a family, substance abuse and signs, reintegration and reunification issues, legal issues, public defenders, work/job issues, holidays, and anything else of interest to the group. 

Knights of Heroes (KOH) provides outdoor adventure programs for Gold Star families at our camp in Colorado. Our programs aim to provide a community in which to share experiences and build relationships. We aim to empower children who have lost a parent in service to our Nation by providing positive adult mentorship, character development, and lasting friendships through outdoor adventure programs. We also strive to ensure that families with losses are not forgotten with the passage of time.  These programs are provided to families free of charge via the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and volunteers.

Development Homes, Inc. is committed to the provision of quality community based support services to persons with disabilities which will enable them to maximize their individual potential and fulfill their personal dreams.

We are family members, friends & educators of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities who formed a Kansas Non-Profit Corporation 501c3.  We have experienced first-hand the challenges of assisting adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities in acquiring and maintaining successful employment opportunities and healthy, enjoyable lifestyles.  

Help & Hope for a life of self-sufficiency.  Hope Harbor accomplishes this mission by providing services to families experiencing homelessness. We help meet their needs for safe shelter, meals, and supportive case management with a goal of obtaining permanent housing and becoming self-sufficient.

Horsepower Provides Equestrian Programs/Therapies For Individuals With Physical, Emotional, And/Or Cognitive Challenges In A Quest For Personal Independence, Accomplishment, Self-Pride, And Well-Being.

Youthlinc invests in the service ethic of youth in order to foster individuals in our society who understand local and global needs, and who are deeply committed to work to relieve those needs through personal service, partnership, and good will.

The City Center and its staff, case managers, therapists, and mentors are dedicated to helping homeless families – often single parent families transition from homelessness to independence.

Faith’s Lodge was established in 2007 to provide a place where those coping with the death or medically complex condition of a child can find hope and strength.   

Connecting families affected by childhood cancer by providing opportunities that encourage relationships and strengthen community.  Children’s Cancer Connection is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families in Iowa that have been impacted by a pediatric cancer diagnosis. 

Our Mission: Showmanship - Providing opportunities for the state's talented youth to put on a Broadway- caliber show for 120,000 people in cities large and small across the state.  Leadership - Inspiring more than 1,000 young, future performers in underserved communities across the state through free educational workshops and classroom curriculum.  Partnership - Working with communities, schools, arts organizations and supporting foundations to develop and deliver engaging, local arts enrichment programs.
